“I am unaware of the rumors circulating on social media. I have already addressed and cleared my case in 2019. I realize that I made a mistake by taking action against my mentors due to pressure from those around me.

I am sincerely apologizing to anyone whose name has been tarnished or used for blackmail by unknown individuals without my knowledge. I am distancing myself from those sentiments and apologize for any negative statements made by others.
Barnabas Korir and I have no differences. In fact, I plan to return stronger after my maternity leave. Before this, I was dealing with an injury, but now I am feeling good and strong.
To my fans, let’s meet again next year after my maternity leave. Thank you.”

Beyond the physical challenges, Chespol has also faced legal and contractual obstacles with her management, which have significantly impacted her career.
In 2018, she publicly accused her former management agency, Golazo, of refusing to release her even after the expiration of her two-year contract.
She alleged that Golazo had provided incorrect information about her whereabouts to the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK), resulting in two missed doping tests. One more missed test could have led to a two-year ban.
In a Facebook post, Chespol revealed that Golazo agents had mistreated her once they realized she was not interested in renewing her contract. She claimed they pressured her into signing another agreement, which she refused.
